Y'all know I'm a lover of all things DIY, empowering, and cool. Luckily I stumbled upon Literal Thots and found all those qualities and more.

Literal Thots is a self published, fully DIY magazine out of Los Angeles, California.
Their mission statement is "Empowering + Liberating Women + Men" and I love that. This publication serves as a vessel for all things we slaves to subculture are hungry for: great music, five-alarm-lit functions, learning odd facts about obscure musicians/artists/people of note, and general knowledge of "cool."

With the first issue going live in 2014, Literal Thots is already five issues deep with zero signs of stopping occurring. I discovered this magazine while in the guts of LA Twitter, looking for new artists for the blog and I was nothing short of hooked. Rarely does one publication hit all my bases but this one has them loaded. With a plethora of social media, a SoundCloud, and monthly events, it's a smorgasbord of stimuli for even your nastiest of senses.

You can read Literal Thots here, follow them on Twitter here, and check out all their bomb ass SoundCloud plugs here.
